La Sonnambula, one of Vincenzo Bellini’s most popular operas returns to the Greek National Opera in Athens after 40 years, in a co-production with the Vienna State Opera and the Royal Opera House, London.
Directed by Marco Arturo Marelli, this 19th century Italian melodrama is set in a sanatorium with the story of mistaken infidelity unfolding.

ABOUT THE STAVROS NIARCHOS HALL
The Stavros Niarchos Hall is the main auditorium of the opera wing found inside the SNFCC complex. Designed by the acclaimed Renzo Piano, it comprises of 1400 seats with outstanding acoustics designed to stage traditional operas and ballets. It became the new home of the Greek National Opera in 2017.
