They come from every walk of life in search of the American dream, determined to succeed, but it often proves to be the wrong path, leading those who follow it into hubris. One of the most iconic plays of the twentieth century comes to the National Theatre of Greece for the first time, brought to the stage in a perceptive and contemporary production, directed by Nikaiti Kontouri. Inspired by a real event, Arthur Miller gives his play the pace and tension of a detective story and a structure directly influenced by ancient Greek tragedy.
