British post-punk band White Lies returns to the open-air stage at the Vrachon Theatre in Athens, to celebrate 10-years since the release of their first multi-award winning album, ‘To Lose My Life’, which debuted at number one of the UK music charts.
White Lies (formerly Fear of Flying) will perform hit tracks from their debut album, taking fans on a nostalgic journey to honour the music that launched their careers.
ABOUT THE WHITE LIES
Formed in 2007 in Ealing West London, White Lies’ dark lyrics combined with Harry McVeigh’s vocals impressed critics more than ten years ago and remains as one of the band’s hallmarks. Respected for their melodic whims and eclectic motivation, White Lies continues to tour the world to sell-out crowds. ‘Five’ is their fifth studio album released in early 2019. Current band members include: Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave and Jack Brown.
THE VENUE
Vrachon Theatre: (Melina Mercouri Open Air Theatre), Vyronas is an open-air theatre approximately a 20-minute drive from the centre of Athens. Seats are not numbered and general admission tickets are sold requiring visitors to secure their seat location on a first-come basis.
