This year marks the first edition of Athens Photo World that will showcase the work of leading photojournalists from around the world and their contribution to shaping the image of our global community.

This event hosted at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, presents the work of experienced photographers who have captured important moments of social and political upheaval of our times. The programme will include open discussions, digital projections and large photo installations at selected points around the centre of Athens.
Event highlight: Events and exhibitions will honour Greek photographer Yannis Behrakis, for his long-standing, award-winning work and his significant contribution to both Greek and international photojournalism.
