International diva Gisele Jackson will appear over three nights at the Half Note Jazz Club in Athens, together with Raphael Wressnig and the Soul Gift Band for an energetic and uplifting night of soul and funk.

ABOUT GISELE JACKSON
Born in Baltimore, Gisele Jackson is internationally renowned as the queen of classical soul, disco, dance, blues and jazz. Coined as the “Diva of the Heels” by Billboard Magazine for her smash hit Love Commandments (1997), Jackson toured with Ray Charles and performed with Donna Summer and James Brown. Her world tours have earned her a cult following.
ABOUT RAPHAEL WRESSNIG
Austrian born Raphael Wressnig is known for his groove and rhythmic vibe, technically fluent in blues, jazz, soul and funk. The self-taught B-3 groove organist has performed all over the world with top international musicians and has released 20 feature albums.

The Half Note Jazz Club is a popular jazz venue, located in the arty Athenian neighbourhood Mets which is a ten-minute drive from the city centre. The club regularly hosts great names of the world music scene covering jazz, blues, funk, swing, cabaret and tango.
