The Bejart Ballet returns to the Odeon of Herodes Atticus this September.

In 7 Greek Dances, genuine Greek steps were embedded in Maurice Béjart’s choreography to bring to mind the fragrance and colour of Greece. Béjart, who was fascinated by the music of Mikis Theodorakis, based this dance composition to mathematical precision on Theodorakis’ score. A rare and unique opportunity to enjoy what was a major collaboration of two artistic giants, performed for the first time at the Odeon.

In Boléro, ballet is set to the musical work of French composer Joseph Maurice Ravel. Béjart created this choreography in 1961and has since been loved and performed all over the world. Leading soloists, Maya Plitsetskaya, Sylvie Guillem and Jorge Donn will perform.
