A magnificent tribute to the iconic choreography of the late pioneer in dance, Maurice Béjart. Fifty dancers of ballet will immerse viewers in an unforgettable show celebrating dance and Béjart’s career, on the majestic stage of the Odeon of Herodes Atticus beneath the slopes of the Acropolis.
Popular ballet sequences that were choreographed by Maurice Bejart combined with classical, jazz and traditional music will feature, with the sounds of Beethoven, Rossini, Webern, Duke Ellington among others. Dance elements with Indian and African influences.
The program includes new work “t ‘M et variations” created by the current artistic director Gil Roman.
