To commemorate the 18th anniversary of the DESTE Prize, the DESTE Foundation is organising an exhibition of works by the nine recipients of the award from 1999 to 2015. Entitled DESTE Prize: An Anniversary Exhibition 1999–2015, the collection offers a survey of contemporary art over these years.
Exhibiting for the first time together are; Loukia Alavanou, Anastasia Douka, Eirene Efstathiou, Christodoulos Panayiotou, Maria Papadimitriou, Angelo Plessas, Georgia Sagri, Kostas Sahpazis, and Panayota Tzamourani. A full profile of the artists can be found here.

Established in 1999, the DESTE Prize is awarded biennially to a Greek or Cypriot artist living in Greece or abroad. The prize aims to showcase an emerging generation of artists and is integral to the foundation’s policy of supporting and promoting contemporary art.
