Legendary jazz and funk trombonist Fred Wesley returns to Athens with his current project Generations Trio, for four nights at the Half Note Jazz Club.

Featuring 25-year-old Italian prodigy Leonardo Corradi on the organ and 45-year-old French drummer Tony Match, the trio will perform old school electrifying jazz classics.

Known as the godfather of jazz-funk, Wesley’s outstanding career spans five decades and has played alongside legends including Ike and Tina Turner, James Brown, George Clinton, Ray Charles among others.
