Why Go:
Live workshops at the Museum of Cycladic Art will bring antiquities to life, with practical workshops demonstrating the process and traditional methods used by ancient sculptors, potters and goldsmiths.
This new and interactive presentation will be divided into three workshops; metal processing at Hephaestus’ workshop, marble at Daedalus’ workshop with Cycladic sculptures, and ceramics at Minerva’s workshop, featuring ancient vessels and clay figurines.
This is a rare and up-close look at ancient Greek art work. The exhibition is curated by the accomplished Greek artist, Nikos Papadimitriou and runs through to the end of February 2016.
