Why Go:

Some of the city’s best Jazz musicians will perform at the Acropolis Museum Restaurant every Friday evening until the end of February. Guests will enjoy dinner and live Jazz performances with magnificent views of the Acropolis.

Musicians include Elizabeth Mitsou on guitar, Panteli Benetatos on piano and Harry Pantazis on contrabass.

The museum’s restaurant will remain open until midnight. Dinner reservations are advisable. Walk-ins welcome for drinks and desserts.

Why Athens Tip: The Acropolis Museum remains open on Fridays from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m.

By day, visitors will have the pleasure of coffee or lunch accompanied by the melodies of harpist Maria Tyraski performing Greek classics by famous composers including Theodorakis. Her repertoire will also combine non-Greek melodies.
