Legendary classical composer Stamatis Spanoudakis will perform and lead a string orchestra and choir in a singular concert at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
Throughout his career, Spanoudakis has recorded more than 60 albums and written numerous hit songs for film and major Greek singers. His music often fuses together rock, classical and Byzantine styles.
Proceeds from the performance will go towards children’s institutions of the Holy Metropolis of Singapore and South Asia. 1,000 children will be educated, accommodated and medically treated in Medan, Indonesia, where the Holy Metropolis operates 5 schools (kindergarten, elementary school, high school, high school, polytechnic school), boarding school and hospital.
