To hear class rock played by an orchestra
The ERT National Symphony Orchestra and the Mixed Choir of Thessaloniki will perform Symphonic Rock at the Megaron, popular songs from the legendary 1970s bands ABBA and Queen, fusing together the sounds of classical and pop music.
The repertoire will include ‘Take A Chance On Me’, ‘Voulez-Vous’, ‘Waterloo’ and others from the legendary band from Sweden. Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘We Will Rock You’ and others will also be performed.
Violins, clarinet, trombone and flute will replace bass, drums, synthesizers and amplifiers for what will be a unique night of music.
