Woody Allen (born Alan Stewart Konigsberg) is one of the most famous and accomplished actors in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning over fifty years, he has written three plays and appeared in several of his own television programs. He has over fifty films to his credit, which straddle the line between drama and comedy. They are always scathing, fun, honest and include topics such as religion and sex. The romantic element is not lacking, while the fears and anxieties of the modern nervous man are often touched upon.

The spectacular open-air theatre of the Odeon Herodes Atticus provides a magical setting beneath the slopes of the Acropolis. The marble auditorium seats 4680 people and has hosted legendary performances by Frank Sinatra, Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti to name a few.
