The Benaki Museum in collaboration with SolidarityNow presents the photography exhibition The Journey. People on the Move. Eight renowned photojournalists have captured the journey of those who have been forced to flee their homes in the past year. The exhibition follows their passage from Turkey to Greece, narrating the stages from entry to leaving once again.

In addition to the photography material, the exhibition displays a collection of children’s drawings, depicting their lives in Afghanistan and Syria. Chronis Pechlivanidis’ documentary,  Refugee Highway‘ will be projected, capturing the emotional struggles of the refugees.

Photographers include, Yannis Behrakis and Alkis Konstantinidis who recently received a Pulitzer 2016 Αward for their contribution in recording the refugee crisis.
