See a modern interpretation of Athens through Greek embroidery
In this collaboration with the Benaki Museum, Athenian jewellery store, B612 presents Vision Greece, a collection of embroidered work referencing various collections from the museum and exploring the perception of today’s Athens.
Embroidery in all its forms, is an old Greek tradition that was a means of communication and storytelling mostly by women. B612 explores the craft further through pictures, words, slogans, colours and materials, applying modern short stories on to jewellery and other larger surfaces.
