As a member of the Design Hotel™ group, this boutique hotel boasts architectural features borrowing from the ‘classic modernism’ movement of the ‘30’s to the ‘70s, which is also very Athenian in style. Following a nine month refurbishment to the 100 year old neo-classical building, 22 guest rooms have emerged resembling French style ‘maisonettes’. The exterior has maintained its heritage but the interior has been brought up to date with a modern and sleek design. Herodion Hotel
The Herodion is one of the few Acropolis hotels worth mentioning. A classic gem, located in a residential area at the base of the Acropolis. A hop, skip and a jump away will also get you to the Acropolis Museum.
As a family owned and run hotel, there is a high attention to resident comfort with various chill out areas and comfy furniture found in their atrium and olive garden. The rooftop bar and restaurant provides all day access and has a magnificent view of the Acropolis.
