Where: Lycabettus Hill
Why Go: For a fine dining experience with the best view of Athens
We Loved: The fusion of Greek flavours

The view at Orizontes is world class and one of the best in Athens. Situated at the top of Lycabettus Hill, you will dine al fresco on their cliff side terrace. At the highest peak in Athens, the view extends from the Acropolis to the port of Piraeus.

The menu includes an expansive Mediterranean offering using top quality produce and flavours from all over Greece. The feta cheese from Epirus, served in dough drizzled with thyme infused honey, is a nice way to start your meal and the seafood is always of the highest standard. The walnut pie for dessert never disappoints.

Why Athens Tips:

  • You will need to take the funicular or cliff railway carriage to get to the top and back down again
  • Request a table on the outside terrace (weather permitting) when making your reservation

Bookings: You can secure a table online here in English
